Somehow, along my almost-fifteen-years of Interneting<\/span><\/span><\/em>,\u00a0in which I totally implement the notion that we are social networkers and all-time conversating, collaborating and sharing\u00a0\u201dcreatures\u201d\u00a0I tend to believe, based on my own experience,\u00a0that many of us still does not understand, or use challenging and insightful web-based utilities and services, such as Blogging, Twittering, Wiki-ing, \u201cFacebooking\u201d, RSSing, Photos and Videos Sharing, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

I recall that it hits me when I explain to a friend, a \u201cGeek\u201d one, how the Internet \u201creads\u201d for me, by connecting<\/span><\/span><\/em> Technorati\u2019s RSS Feeds of my Watchlists (on issues I am interested about) – to my Google RSS Reader. By doing that, I enjoy worldwide feeding on issues I care about, and it keeps me professionally updated. I turned out, that my friend knew and used Technorati, and of course uses Google Reader, yet he was not aware of the combination of the two.<\/span><\/p>\n

His response was a a kind of \u2018relief\u2019 for me; he said: \u201cWell, one should never under-estimate the users\u2026.\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/em> I took it as a compliment\u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All these social networking features can help us to be more communicative and also productive in our daily life, personal or professional life – so, why not use them?<\/span><\/p>\n

It may be so due to lack of time, yet I assume that it is mainly because people think of it as Technology<\/span><\/span><\/em>, and therefore, for that reason, it is positioned for them as\u00a0\u201dout of reach\u201d for \u201cplane ordinary\u201d people.<\/span><\/p>\n

For that purpose, let me suggest that you will browse Lee Leefever\u2019s collection of \u201cIn plane English\u201d short videos<\/span><\/a>, that put it all in the right context: \u201cHow I can wisely use these utilities in a way they will assist my way of communicating, writing and learning?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
